The audit
Find out what is worth building, before you build it.
Two to four weeks, a fixed scope agreed in advance, and one deliverable your team can act on whether or not you hire us for the build.
The six steps
Discovery
Interviews with the people who do the work, not only the people who manage it. We are mapping how things actually happen.
Process mapping
Volume, time per unit, loaded cost, error rate, and where the handoffs fail. This is the part that produces numbers.
Opportunity scoring
Every candidate scored on impact, feasibility, cost and risk. The scoring model is handed over with the report, so you can re-run it yourself next year.
Architecture
What each opportunity would actually require. This step can conclude that deterministic automation solves it, that a process change solves it, or that nothing should be built.
ROI
Current cost against build cost against running cost. Ranges, not false precision, with the assumptions written down so you can argue with them.
Roadmap
Quick wins, medium term, structural. Each with a cost range and a prerequisite list.
How every opportunity gets sorted
A two by two matrix. The horizontal axis is business impact, low to high. The vertical axis is implementation complexity, high at the top to low at the bottom. Four quadrants: avoid, for low impact and high complexity; evaluate, for high impact and high complexity; optional, for low impact and low complexity; and prioritise, for high impact and low complexity. Three example opportunities are plotted, with an internal knowledge assistant falling in the prioritise quadrant.
What you get
- A scored list of every AI opportunity we found, including the ones we recommend dropping.
- The scoring model itself, so the assessment is repeatable without us.
- A data readiness assessment per opportunity, because that is what usually decides feasibility.
- Architecture outlines for the opportunities worth pursuing.
- An ROI model with its assumptions exposed.
- A prioritised roadmap with cost ranges.
- A walkthrough session with your team, recorded.
What it costs
It depends on how many processes are in scope and how scattered your data is, and we would rather quote accurately than publish a number that is wrong for you.
What is fixed and stated before anything starts: the scope, the duration, the deliverable and the price. You will not receive a variable invoice, and you will know the number before you commit to anything.
The first call is free and it is where the number comes from. If the honest answer is that you do not need an audit, you will hear it on that call.
